Medication Take Back Event

The next Medication Take Back event will be Saturday, April 27, 10am-2pm.  There are three drop off sites: one in League City, Clear Lake and Galveston.

Galveston Women’s Conference

UTMB Health with the Galveston Chamber of Commerce co-sponsored ”Celebrating Women: Mind, Body, Spirit,” the 2013 version of the annual Galveston women’s conference on April 5. The keynote speaker was Candace Bushnell author of Sex and the City.

Other fantastic speakers included UTMB Physicians Dr. Catherine Hansen, presenting “Sex in your 60s” and Dr. Tristi Muir, presenting “Mamba through Menopause: Managing Middle Age Magnificently,” Dominique Sachse – Mistress of Ceremonies, Michelle Cove, filmmaker and author of Seeking Happily Ever After, Lyssa Graham, Comedian, and Kristina Carrillo-Bucaram, presenting “How to be FullyRaw.
