PCP Health Fair

The University of Texas Medical Branch hosted an open house and free health fair on Saturday, August 10 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Primary Care Pavilion. It was an opportunity for community members of all ages to tour the redesigned and upgraded clinic facility.

There were more than 50 UTMB and community vendor groups offering visitors healthy fitness activities and games, as well as prizes for kids and free backpacks full of school supplies.

At noon, there was a rededication of the pediatric art wall — a mosaic of more than 1,000 ceramic art tiles hand-painted by patients and community members.

Special thanks to all the vendors and volunteers who made this event successful!
