Remember, we want to hear from you and these councils are part of getting your voice heard, engaging in teamwork and contributing to patient care and your professional and clinical development and advancement (all Magnet principles).

Ambulatory Council meetings are now open for teleconferencing participation (remember that besides providing your valuable input, this participation also counts towards the CAP and evaluations, so please join us in the locations and at the times below!)

Ambulatory Educator Announcements

**I will be sending out a nursing education/professional development survey soon and look forward to your responses, so be on the lookout**

**I will be sending out invitations for the 2nd session of Evidence-Based Practice guided tour sessions soon. I will offer one hour sessions from 9am-5pm once or twice monthly.  I have set aside October 31st, at TC Net Ops, as one session. Staff may come during any one hour block of time between 9am and 4pm. Offerings will be in the newly re-decorated Texas City Net Ops training room. Hands-on practice will be a part of learning. October will cover evidenced-based practice module “Asking the focused Question”. If you are interested, please contact me. PCP and UHC groups—I will be setting a day aside for you in early November in the PCP. Stay tuned.

** In preparation for the TJC visit, Dates now set for one hour educational modules for High level disinfection (HLD) and Sterilization. This will be mandatory for primary users in clinics with autoclaves or who utilize HLD. Supervisors will be receiving an email from Kathy Angel. These are also open to anyone who has an interest. They will be conducted by Peggy Mann and myself at TC Net Ops on October 15th and 18th. Times are noted below. Each session is approximately 1 hour with sessions repeating all day as noted below. We can comfortably hold 11 people at any one session.
