Robert (Bob) Dalecki joined UTMB-CMC in September of 2009 as a Practice Manager for the Huntsville, Goree, and Ferguson units. In 2010 Robert became a Senior Practice Manager for the same units and assisted with the management of a number of other units in the Huntsville District. In 2012 Robert became Regional Manager for Region 2 UTMB-CMC and in September 2015 became Director of Operations for UTMB-CMC Region 2.
Robert has a passion for excellence and for improving the work environment. Not only does Robert believe that people are an organization’s greatest asset, he is convinced that it is our collective knowledge, skill, drive, and aspirations that can make an organization great. Each and every person has the ability to impact the success of UTMB. The Employee Advisory Council is one way to tap into our collective human potential and direct that energy toward the goal of Working together to work wonders.
Robert would like to serve on the Employee Advisory Council because he believes having a working knowledge of the day- to- day challenges that we all face on the front line relates to our success, our job satisfaction, and achieving our personal goals. Robert has the ability to listen, to process and to articulate those things that are important qualities of a better, more rewarding work place.
Pinkee Patel Harley, MBA
Pinkee Patel Harley is running for re-election as a Correctional Managed Care (CMC) representative to the Employee Advisory Council because she wants to continue to promote and enhance rewarding careers for employees at UTMB. Pinkee has been with UTMB for a little over four years after graduating from Lamar University with an MBA concentrating in Healthcare Administration. Pinkee’s undergraduate studies include a double major in Finance and Economics. Pinkee is currently the Sr. Practice Manager over the Beaumont Complex, which consists of Stiles, Gist, and Leblanc Units. Pinkee is really enjoying building her team there!
Pinkee is very proud to say she started as a CCA in this organization because it helped lay the foundation for processes within CMC. Pinkee was also formerly the Administrative Secretary for Region 3, Practice Manager at Lychner/Kegans, and now currently a Sr. Practice Manager in this organization. Having opportunities to promote and eventually end up back “home” has been very rewarding for her. Working alongside so many vital roles within our organization has helped Pinkee gain valuable knowledge.
Pinkee’s biggest interests have been taking part in leadership projects, including the Operations Resource Manual, where she played an active role in creating the web-based resource. Pinkee was also a participant in the “You Count” focus group led by Dr. McKinley. Pinkee is currently working on her Six Sigma Green Belt. There is always a problem that needs fixing. Pinkee has served on the Employee Advisory Council since May 2015, when she was appointed to fill an open position. She has really enjoyed this new accolade. It is an honor and a privilege to work alongside employees from several segments which represent this great university.
Pinkee hopes to continue representing UTMB employees by communicating employee needs and promoting a positive work environment. This means motivating and encouraging others by her own positive example, doing her best in everything, and inspiring a creative and constructive way of dealing with everyday problems.
In Pinkee’s leisure, she enjoys spending time with her family and friends, especially her sweet 92-year-old grandmother. Pinkee also enjoys reading, spending time with her sweet pup Roger, and traveling every chance she gets.
“A good life is inspired by love and guided by knowledge.”
