EAC members attended the Correctional Managed Care Summer Conference held at Moody Gardens on August 13, 2013. EAC representatives sponsored a cake reception, distributed flyers and pens.

EAC members participated in UTMB Earth Day 2013. Festivities included a recycled art and fashion contest, green exhibitors, seedling giveaways, swap shop, food, and music. This was the 21st year of the celebration and the theme was Think Green & Redeem! UTMB is dedicated to conserving and preserving our environment.
