IS says no to Internet Explorer 7 because of incompatibility issues

Microsoft recently released Internet Explorer 7 as part of Windows Updates. In preliminary testing Information Services found that MyVPN, Juniper and Hyperion are incompatible with IE 7. There are still a large number of applications that have not yet been tested for compatibility including PeopleSoft, MyUTMB, EPIC EMR and Embella.

Information Services is currently not including Internet Explorer 7 as part of its scheduled updates. It is highly recommended that you do not install the update if you use the applications identified above.

If you have already installed Internet Explorer 7 and are experiencing problems accessing any of the above mentioned applications, please contact the IS Service Desk at x25200 for assistance.
