Database platforms are the foundation for data storage. The ability to retrieve and manipulate data from these platforms is a must in any IT profession and a very useful tool for most Business Analysts. The Structured Query Language (SQL) Primer session is designed as an introduction into a basic database platform and a focus on using SQL to interact with the database platform. By the end of this session, you’ll have a basic understanding of SQL language, anatomy of a select statement, various options you can use when retrieving data, joins, introduction into data manipulation, and a few tips and tricks to take your statements to the next level.
